Tiny residence .
Technical aesthetics A small loft

Can you smuggle the atmosphere of a loft apartment in an empty factory building into a small apartment?

The question is not rhetorical: the tiny living space has been redesigned to maximise the industrial aesthetic of loft living and we have tried to maximise the space available within the footprint. The living room, American kitchen and study are in fact one large space, with a striking totem of a wall element separating the bedroom. To maximise the sense of space, a sliding door to the bathroom is used, which, when open, does not take up any space from the central area. A masculine, industrial feel is given off by the striated metal and concrete surfaces, the rusted steel sheet cladding and the exposed brick in the living room. All this is offset by warm woods and leather covers, adding a cosy touch to the striking interior.
